The department of Cell Biology has three research interestsMetabolism & Motility1. compartmentalized energy (ATP) and redox (NAD/NADH and NADP/NADPH) reactions,2. regional coupling between energy-redox metabolism and actin-based cell shape dynamics,3. reversible protein phosphorylation reactions involved in determining cell fate and growth regulation, cytoskeleton dynamics and metabolic state.
